Hey there

As you may have noticed, all the pictures in my gallery have gone.

This is a result of me closing my account here.

I have had a great time getting to know the other artists on dA and I am grateful to all those who have helped and commented on my artwork and I will miss the marvelous deviations that are posted here, but I no longer have the time to devote to this account and I feel it is unfair to stay and keep watching people that I don't have any time to comment on.

I shall continue to draw and learn about art and I may come back one day and share what I have learned with the other budding artists here, but until then I shall wish you all a fond goodbye and all the best.

WOW, it has been a long time hasn't it?

All I can say is that Tiscali are a terrible service and anyone wishing to purchase internet from them should think twice! We had the internet for a total of 4 days in 4 months!

So that's one of the reasons why this account has been left to go stale for so long, I have been without the net!

I'm so sorry for those of you who I watch and watch me, I haven't abandoned anyone, I have just been really stranded!

Hopefully, once I have got myself sorted, there should be some new art coming your way, but to be honest, I have been so busy lately that I haven't had tiome to draw much.

I must get back to it!

Hey All!

Just a brief on where I am and what I am doing!

I am without my beloved computer and scanner at the moment, so this explains the lack of artwork from me recently! Chris and I are looking at houses and flats at the moment and will be taken up with our big move for a while and making sure we keep up to date with our website!

Once I'm settled I will have some more artwork to post up for critique and I have been practising, so there may be alot for you to view and comment on

I have a slight request......I know that there are a few Naruto fans out there, but are there any living in Romania that have a Naruto headband for sale? I only ask because I have a friend who would really like one but is finding it hard to get hold of one! If anyone can help, post here or pm and we will see if we can sort something out for her, ok? Thanks guys, I know if you can help you won't let me down.

Thank you all for the wonderful 1,000 page views This has come as a total suprise as I have been neglecting my dA account of late. There is a good reason for this and that is that I am getting ready to move out from my parents house and move in with my boyfriend.

We have been lucky enough to secure jobs but they are both down south of where we are living at the moment, so we will have to re-locate! We have wanted the chance to set up home together for ages and now it is finally becoming a reality, so if I am not around much and don't comment much, I'm sorry but this is going to take up most of my time for a little while!

I had planned on having something a little special to celebrate hitting the big 1,000 but alas, I have been so preoccupied with what's going on in my 'real' life (non internet based existance) that it has been left unfinished.

I do have some sketches and other works planned out, but it will take me a few weeks to acutally finish anything ready to submit, so please be patient, I will be back with a vengence as soon as we are settled in our new place!

I'll keep you all posted if and when I have time to.

Last week, a friend of mine discovered that someone had stoled a piece of her artwork and was displaying it in their gallery. She went to have a look and there it was, complete with her signature, up in someone elses gallery.

I don't think this person realises that they have done something wrong because they put that it was taken from someone elses website. The problem is that this version is being faved and commented on as the good trusting folk of dA don't haven't read the blurb that goes with the picture and have just seen a piece of art that they would like to fave. This is doing my friend out of page views, faves and comments that she rightly deserves.

I have suggested to the guilty party to take the artwork down and I have reported (as have a few other people) the violation to dA, but neither have worked.

So, this is where I want your opinion, what should be done now? I don't want to name and shame the person involved, as I really don't think they realise what they have done and that they think it is a flattering gesture, but it has really upset my friend and shouldn't still be there after a week of several people complaining to dA.

I don't want people to go and start a war with this person either, and I certainly don't want to start a war with dA, but I'm at a loss as to what to do to help my friend.

It also botheres me that most of the artwork my boyfriend and I submit here is registered with the UK copyright service, and if dA doesn't enforce it's breech of copyright policy, I'm afraid that most people will feel the need to take their art down

So, your opinions please, what should we do?
